Happy Wednesday!

I'm on the way back from Austria to the USA, and then promptly going on vacation--I cannot wait! But the meetings there went well, and everyone seems quite sure that we will get Austria on board for the project. Let's hope so.

K,

I need some advice on a digital camera. I'm about to buy my first one. What do you recommend? I've decided that you're my favorite photographer, so your imput is important.

Mein lieber Fabian! (wann ich so was sagen darf?)

I thank you for your kind and flattering words!

I use a Canon S-50, a 5 megapixel camera. I played with a lot of different cameras while at my workshop (Nikon, Kodak, Canon and some others) and for my money I like Canon the best. My brother's Canon A-80 (4 megapixel) was fun while I was at my family reunion holiday as was my mom's Canon Elph.

Canons (for me) are easy to use and adjust and have good quality lenses, good battery life, and not too long a photo delay. FYI, all the photos in this blog were taken with the S-50.

I like the Canon PowerShot series--there's one with 8 megapixel and a cool variable LCD screen that could be great for stealth photography! (Mulling that for birthday . . .)

Good luck with it, and I look forward to seeing your photos!

Hi I came across your journal from your posts in photo communities. You have wonderful photos and it's amazing that you're able to travel to all these wonderful destinations.

If you don't mind my asking what job do you have? And where can I sign up? :)
