So glad you enjoyed the pix! But it is true, Vegas is high American kitsch and the lowest common denominator swirled together with healthy lashings of booze . . . a remarkable place!
Looking forward to the next promised getaway in the next few weeks . . . wonder where it will be!
Happy New Year to you! I hope you had a wonderful holiday season!
Things are nuts again as the project engulfs me, but a break will come at month-end . . . and I am being taken away somewhere . . . but I know not yet where!
Welcome back!!! :))pat_susanaDecember 23 2005, 12:12:02 UTC
It's always awesome to see your wonderful posts and amazing pictures :)) these are all great!! What an adventure it must have been to try the Glock9 mm... when I saw that picture of your host and you was really cool, though it would be lovely to see your face too... you seem to be so tall :) Las Vegas seems so alive with all those colours... I had a friend who was working in Phoenix and liked all that area. Red Rock Canyon truly seems lovely... it's wonderful that we can still find these kind of places that are untouched my man :) thank you so much for sharing these great memories.
Hope the Christmas shoppings went well, and that you have a peaceful night, filled with presents, much joy and love. May the New Year bring you all that you wish for because you truly deserve the best life has to offer :)

Hey there! How are you!
First of all a very Happy New Year to you. I hope you had a lovely holiday season, full of joy and rest!
I had a lot of fun in Las Vegas--tacky and tasteless though it is, we had a blast. The desert is just stunning, and I enjoyed our day hiking a LOT!
I'm back hard at work, with a break coming at the end of the month, when we finish this phase of the project. My Vegas host would like to whisk me off to a surprise destination in a few weeks, so I think that could be lots of fun!

Hi!!! I'm so sorry for taking so long to reply to your sweet comment :( a very Happy 2006 to you too... may it be filled with loads of success, much joy and love!!! The holiday season was OK... we spent Christmas Eve at our brother's as it has been a family tradition for a couple of years now :) It's really great as he and his wife are great hosts :)) Sometimes my sister, and I just wish that Christmas can be longer... lol it's always a bummer to put away the decorations. Hope you had a lovely holiday season too
