I thought of you while we were there, but the time was so short . . .

I left on Sunday so am already back in the USA.

But you may be sure I shall return--it is so lovely there!

It was really amazing the coincidence that your surprise destination was Lisboa. The both of us really loved your pictures... this set will always be one of our favourites!!

I've read that you loved the pastéis de Belém... they are just sooo yummy!!! Oh, and did you manage to taste the travesseiros in Sintra? There's a pastry shop there called Piriquita that sells them... it's even better than the pastéis :D hehe

No, I did not try the fabulous pastries in Sintra--next time, another "must do!"

I am so glad you like the new icon! I forgot to mention, it's an old sign I saw in Obidos--I loved it!

Brilliant! I've never been to Lisbon and I probably wouldn't have thought to go there, but now I would like to after seeing these! Gorgeous pics and views.

I cannot recommend it highly enough. It is beautiful and not too expensive!

I recommend it highly--the city is beautiful, and getting out to nearby towns (even on the train) is SO worth it!

It was a wonderful trip--we had a really wonderful time. My former colleague was also nice enough to take us around which was lovely.
