Gorgeous! I love the warm light in that part of the world. Everything here is an odd shade of blue.

Thank you so much! I am so very happy you enjoyed the Portugal photos!

Sorry to be out of touch for so long but it has been nuts at work, plus we're negotiating for a monster new contract next week!

All best to you and happy spring!

I am enjoying your pictures more than I can possibly say. In fact, a friend of mine was just transferred to Dusseldorf and was remarking that she was looking to find a warm European city to visit soon. I recommended Lisbon, based on your photographs. It's truly lovely and I thank you so much for posting them!

Thank you so much for your kind words: did your friend from Dusseldorf ever get to Portugal? It must be lovely spring there now!

I am glad you enjoyed the pictures, and am delighting in the fact that finally it is spring here in the Northeast USA!

Sorry to be offline--work went NUTS so it's been super busy!

Have a lovely spring!

My friend did not get to Portugal yet but I have decided to visit Lisbon in 2008 when I go to Barcelona and Marrakech.

No worries about being offline. I always enjoy your pictures so much so have a wonderful spring and I'll wait for your next photo spread.

Oh, I leave for Italy (beautiful Cinque Terre, here I come!) in two weeks, so I may have some photo spreads of my own soon. ;)

Did you do the instructive tour of Sandeman's, with the guide dressed up in a cloak and widebrimmed hat like the figure in the old ads?

Thanks for your kind comment!

We actually missed that special Sandeman's tour, and would up getting treated to a vertical flight of white ports just down the way.

Pity, as the Sandeman's tour you describe sounds like fun!
