So, I hadn't played WoW since last March, but I got an email last week offering me 7 free days on my account. I've been pretty much ok planning on never coming back to the game this time - I just no longer had the same drive to play - unlike previous times I had quit for temporary reasons (like school) and had always intended on coming back at some ( Read more... )

The new LFG system they just added is going to be the death of me, I think. "Just one more dungeon. Really this time."

Yeah, that feature sounds great. It's a good thing I didn't try it.

There's times that I miss WoW, but with limited gaming time even for 1 player games anymore, I would have to drop a bunch of other things to get back into it. That and Lauren would eviscerate me if I tried signing back up again ... it helps that my guild completely folded and scattered between 3 different servers shortly after I quit.
