Lesser icons
oo1 - The icon too smooth and the colouring doesn't complement the icon
oo2 - the yellow texture is out of place and blocks the focus on the image. text doesn't fit neither.
oo2 - textures don't fit
oo2 - The texture fades out the colouring too much, making it dull and uninteresting.
oo2 - awkward crop and the texture makes the image look cartoon-like instead of graceful
oo2 - The textures distract rather than enhance the icon. As does the placement of the yellow text blob--it become the focal point as opposed to Kristen.

Favourite icons
oo3- The icon as a whole is done nicely, colors compliment the subject well.
oo3 - pretty colouring and the rounded borders help the composition.
oo3 - nice texture use and crop
oo3 - Good composition overall. Love the textures and the rounded edges.
oo4 - beautiful crop and even better coloring
oo4 - The coloring is beautiful, the text is appropriate for the pic, lovely crop.
