Sorry to hear about your TMJ, but happy your anxiety has gone down. I was having a problem with TMJ last semester. I'm trying to remember if you were in Professional Issues with us (I think you were), but if you were there was one day when I pretty much went from bad to way worse in the middle of class. I was having problems with my left ear and trouble hearing for a few months. That day in class I was getting eye pain in my left eye every time I would try to look at the powerpoint screen, which had me really freaked out

Thanks Anne! I'm sorry to say I'll have a TMJ pain buddy now (because it sucks and I wish neither one of us had it!). I had no idea you were going through so much trouble! : ( I remember Amanda Howey had some TMJ issues one time and her jaw was locking on her. Dr. Gilson tried to talk her into letting him fix it. It was so funny, you can really tell he wanted to be a MD.
I'm happy to hear the split thingy worked...I'm hopeful that once I get the braces off and get the split on things will just resolve themselves. Although I've honestly felt a lot better lately, so maybe it just comes and goes? ::crosses fingers:: I've also been eating really soft foods so maybe that helps too, just to not stress the joint.
And yes, we should totally have lunch sometime! : )
