Eeee I'm so glad you posted these here!

I love the transition from young, naive boy to more jaded young man. It's heartbreaking to read in letters but also endears him more as a character to me.

Also, knowing what I do about his auntie this makes me on the fence about her. Yes, she was a batshit woman who wanted to commit double suicide with Line but she also was trying to make sure Raoul felt loved and wanted. And I can respect that.

I was abashed that someone, a stranger, would read my blog and find my writing worth a positive comment, so I decided I should give your own blog a read. I was not disappointed.

Raoul as a child isn't depressing often, but to see a cute and innocent child in contrast to the conflicted soul he seems to be as an adult is just... heartbreaking. I'm going to enjoy looking back and reading about your character, as well as following what you're going to write next.

It was very fun to go back and map out exactly how his feelings progressed. At what point did he start asking questions and not liking the answers, you know?
