PROM 2005
prom was soooooooooo much fun!!!!!!!!
On thursday I got all my last minute stuff togther and got a pedicure with lyndsay
Yesterday I woke up around 9 and met lynds at her house. From there we went to go pick up her flowers and then we went to get our nails done at 10. After my nails I went to get my hair done at 12. There were so many people from Dracut High there, me and alycia were right next to each other getting our hair done. After the hair appt. I met up with Jess and she came over to do my make-up for me. It ended up coming out so good. From there I got everything on so jess could see me before she had to leave.
A little while later Kyle came over and our parents took picture before the limo came to come get us. The limo took us to lyndsay house where we all took pictures. After so many pictures we all got into the limo and headed to pre-prom. At pre-prom we all took the group picture and then went to walk through the courtyard. The were so many people there and every two steps someone was like "stop!! look at the camera for a picture!" It was crazy there because there were so many people.
After pre-prom we all got back in the limo and headed to "The Marriot Long Wharf Hotel" in Boston. The hotel was so nice. When we got there we put all our clothes for later in a room and then took the couples pictures. After pictures we went upstairs for drinks, cheese and crackers, and lots of picture taking. From there we headed down stairs where we sat down for dinner. The chicken ended up making me a little sick later that night, but it wasn't to big of a deal. James Renaud was the king and Greta Vincent was the queen. The rest of the night was filled with lots of dancing and lots of fun.
When the auctual prom part was over the girls and guys went into the rooms to change. After we changed we walked over to the cruise. It took forever to get on the boat because they called last name A-H first. me, meg kennedy, kara, and kate just chilled for a while waiting to get on the boat. The boat was pretty good at first, but then it just got boring because there was nothing to do. the majority of the people were sleeping, trying to sleep or just sitting down the whole time because we wer so tired. The rest of the people were on the downstairs level dancing, which still wasn't to many people. There were alot of people sleeping downstairs too although I don't know how they did it because the music was blaring.
We finally left the curise around 6 and got back to the hotel around 6:15. We were waiting for the buses till about 6:30 when 3 showed up. Then about 15 minutes later the other 3 came. Around 7 we finally left boston. The bus ride home was absolutly silent. I, along with just about everybody else, fell asleep for the whole ride home. We got back to the school around 7:50 where momp picked kevin and I up. We got back about and hour and a half late. we were supposed to be pick up between 6 and 6:30. I fell asleep as soon as I got home and woke up at 3 to go to work at 4. I went to work with my hair still in the twists, but took the back out. It was dead because of memorial day weekend so they sent me home at 6:30 rather then 10 because I looked exhausted.
So all and all the prom was an excellent time. The cruise wasn't the best thing ever, but it was sill pretty fun. Had a great time with kyle dancing and just having fun the whole time.
