Halloween did not turn out exactly how I had planned. I had thought that I would leave directly from class, catch the express home, work on my 'ripped face' makeup, finish up the decorations in our Hallway O' Doom, and give out candy while working on homework

It was a weird Halloween all 'round, I think. I was going to dress up as a fox wife sort of thing - fox mask, dark clothes, eye makeup - but due to a whole series of irritating setbacks (and a last-minute visit with Mama and my siblings, which was very fun) I ended up getting back home when it was already dark, and then making dinner while waiting for trick-or-treaters. We got even fewer kids coming by this year than last. :(
