Toothaches suck

Ok I'm going to post my story then get a poll on if you think I've got ground for a lawsuit. I know how sue-happy this country is getting, so off the bad I'll just say I'm not looking to get rich quick, and all I'm looking for is having work corrected, not having to pay a lawyer, and not lose wages. hmm...yeah. They should redo the whole thing. I had a venir on my front tooth that broke, and it was under a 5 year warranty, and the dental lab that made it was the place that had to redo it.

I'd wait and see what they say, and if they're not willing to fix the mess, it's ground for a lawsuit. You may even get a free consultation with a lawyer before you hire one, just to see if you have a case.

That's a good point. I hadn't thought of that! Probably be a good idea to get a free consult before I give them money to back a case if I don't even have one ;-)

yeah, there's a lot of lawyers who'll do that. I know, cause my grandpa has been trying for years to sue his neighbors and keeps getting consults from new lawyers, lol...he doesn't have a case. He's just senile, lol.

I'm not sure if you have a legal case... (though you should DEFINITELY consult a lawyer because you might)

I certainly don't think you should have to pay for it to be redone, though -- they messed up, and that's a huge chunk of money you'd have to pay.

But definitely report this to the better business bureau, no matter what. It's important to prevent this from happening to anyone else, too.
