I'm quite sure he's faking the violin, but he actually can play. He was born in the Soviet Union and moved to Norway at a young age, his mother is a pianist and his father a violinist. Needless to say, I kind of love him! XD
I was talking about this with someone in Greece! It really is awesome. I love people who can play instruments really well, probably because I'm completely hopeless myself.
According to the person I was talking with, some of the violin playing is someone else, but he is playing in the long solo bit. :)
