I'm so bad at taking criticism. Today the teacher I subbed for on Tuesday told me that her translator/aide/whatever told her the ESOL kids were walking all over me. Out of 3 ESOL classes, 2 students gave me trouble, and by trouble I mean that kept trying to get out of doing work when all they really had to do in class was do any work from any class

Actually, it is kind of true. You have to be firm at first, and then you can loosen your reins. And they will walk over you if you are too lacksidasical.
