It really sucks when you eat the healthiest foods for two weeks and exercise everyday for one of those weeks and you only lose 1 pound. All I can do is keep doing what I'm doing and hope it will eventually work...but I can't know for sure that it will and that is killing me. It has never been this difficult for me to lose weight. To better your physical appearance you have to make a lifestyle change. Modifying your diet for one week and adding some exercise will not automatically make you beauty queen skinny (if that is what you are looking for). Making a conscious decision to exericse and eat properly all the time will produce results. Moderation is the key. Start with making small changes. Change what you eat, then work your way to decreasing portion size. Start with a cardio workout a few times a week and then work up to including weights. The key is also to avoid just looking at the scale,not seeing any change and they getting all depressed. These things take time and also sometimes the scale wont change but you are in fact getting healthier. In addition fat will turn to muscle so the weight may not change but body composition will...and that is really what you are looking for and the most important thing!!!

I have hyperthyroid...that's supposed to make me lose weight, not gain it.
