So, we just a got a little rain and some wind from the storm. No biggy...and it wasn't as busy as I thought, so today was ok. Two totally separate customers said that I had a northern accent. I don't get it.

Man, people are acting like Arlene is Ivan or something. Everyone at the car place I work at was obsessed, checking the weather channel every few hours for the advisory and everything, and I couldn't get gas b/c the gas stations were packed...and dammit, I actually need it to drive to work tomorrow. Power went out at Ann Taylor today...actually went out from about Destin to Panama City. Apparently, some guy was working on a sign outside of a CVS pharmacy or something, there was some sort of accident involving phrases like "someone blew up" and "I heard there were body parts". Well, I'm finally off from AT today, after 5 days of Memorial Day weekend hell...so I'm about to go to my other job, which I have been neglecting due to lack of days off. There seem to be people at my job who actually like working retail. I call them insane...after this weekend, I'm searching for a new job again. The actual job itself is ok, except for the standing at the front of the store and saying hello and have a nice day to every single person who enters and exits.
