manwhoreforhire bought me this book as a Valentine's day present and then promptly gave it to me the same evening he bought it. I might have to go looking for more short story anthologies since I really love reading them

The Cold Fire Trilogy is quite good. I think you'll like it.

I've heard that from a number of people. My main problem is the books are rather long and lately I need more immediate gratification from books.

Fortunately, the book has managed to grab me again.

Anthologies and essay collections are great for me too--especially for reading on the bus when I go to and from work.

I even managed once to finish a Gaiman short story while in line at Chipotle. It certainly made the time seem to go faster.
