Not a whole heck of a lot is going on, but I figured I should update before people start combing ditches in search of my body, because, clearly, that could be the only explanation for such a blogging drought.

My weekends seem to have been overtaken by Mundane Things. I've gotten a lot of necessary albeit boring things done, but I still don't have ( Read more... )

Message: thank you for the update. i love being able to stalk you and know every detail of your life. do you have an old boombox? works wonders in a car without a radio. and PLEASE, once you're done with the 86 degree weather, send it east..ALL the way east. thanks. good to know about gilmore girls-it seems the folks at work are completely in tune with ALL the shows i want to see, and thus, schedule me for those exact nights. i gotta find a wednesday show to get hooked on...

I considered the boombox, but the only one I have is huge and requires like 8 DD batteries, so it doesn't seem worth it to me to feed it all of those batteries, because I'll probably have to replace them at least once. We'll see how Edmund the iPod does. (Yes, I named him.)

And I'm sorry, but the wedding's this weekend...I leave the day after tomorrow, so I guess I won't see you. :( I'd only be there on Thursday night anyway, though, so unless you came home that early for Veteran's Day, I wouldn't be there. Ships passing in the night...

Wow, update central! What have we done to deserve such a treat? ;)

I'm trying my very best to muster up some sympathy for you and your 86 degree weather, but I must report that I'm failing miserably. I do, however, sympathize on the no-CD-player-or-radio thing. How does your mother survive in such an environment? I'm afraid I'd have to resort to singing to myself, and that just wouldn't be good for anyone. The car would probably start playing music out of sheer agony.

Anyway, have a great time on your trip this weekend!

Lol...I'm not sure how my mom does it...although she doesn't drive too awfully far to work, so it's not as big of a deal to her.

And I know, I shouldn't whine about nice weather, but I'm a big fan of 70 degrees. Maybe if she'd gotten married in the bleak midwinter it would've worked out for a 70 degree wedding in the desert. :)

Sorry, I should've explained more thoroughly...it DOES have a CD player and all that, but for some reason, it's not working at the moment, and my parents have yet to take it in to get looked at.
