1. you've inspired me to keep a list. I've already completed 2 books this year thanks to a break and some traveling.

2. I love that you were listening to Bird and the Bee. They are amazing.

3. How are you? It's been too long.

1) Yay! And wow, 2 books in two days?
2) Yeah, I finally broke down and bought the CD yesterday...I've been meaning to for awhile.
3) I'm pretty good! Still working at the same place for now...I'm hoping to do a Europe trip in the spring, and I have a lot of time off saved up, so I don't want to look for a new job until then...how about you? I'm hoping maybe I can visit SD some time this summer...let me know if you ever make it up this way! Miss you, buddy.

I am so, so, SO jealous of your list this year!!!! I think I've read ONE book since HP #7 and that's just embarrassing to me. :( I guess working full-time and trying to raise a 3-year-old will kill your book time. Who knew?! ha!

I read Running with Scissors, and I totally have to agree that it was WAY more dark than comical. And Kite Runner is one of my top ten books for sure. Same goes for The Green Mile. I keep looking at Water for Elephants and thinking that I should buy it and don't. I read Angela's Ashes eons ago and although it was really well-written, it was too depressing for me. I'll get my list posted soon! It won't be nearly as impressive though!

Thanks, buddy! They're not all "real" books, but it makes me feel accomplished to have read almost a book a week. :)
