Isn't Going Postal good? It was the first Terry Pratchett book I ever read (for once the new book section of the library was worth something). The scary thing is that logically, the policy and theories that the Lord talks about are somewhat possible and useful.
I am hoping to get to reading soon, have you ever read "The Golden Compass" I am hoping to start that as soon as I find a library that isn't in the middle of construction.
Yee! I haven't read "The Golden Compass" yet. I was thinking of either that or "The Song of Ice and Fire" series (or whatever its called) once I'm done with Red Mars. Unfortunately, the library in Inverness has a not so great science fiction/fantasy section. But they do have "Fragile Things", Gaiman's new collection of short stories.
Oh yeah, I should read that too! I just found out that there is a library in Hillsborough that does rock (i.e. is full of anime and bollywood films that I have not watched yet). So I think I will be abusing the power of the library. I started the Golden Compass now, and it seems pretty good, but I also heard good things about the Song of Ice and Fire a long time ago. Also, I bet Inverness has some type of Illiad set up, so that might be worth looking into.
