Yay for the job and moving all in! Congrats and a Happy Birthday ahead of time. I know the pain with the shopping for new shoes, I have to get closed toed pumps for law school (the most conservative shoes eva!) Good luck with the job and the parents.

Katie. Katie. Did you SEE the shoes that I wore to that place? I fucking duct taped and spray painted them! You shouldn't have worried about the shoes, seriously. If Doug told you they're too casual, don't listen to him. Even Russ wears sneakers to sometimes. Just make sure they're super comfortable and no one will really give a shit. Hell, one woman used to wear pink ballet slippers to work.

And Monday WILL be interesting, but be really glad that you started in the summer.

I miss Ringling so much sometimes. Even though in some ways the job sucks, I'm really really happy that you got it. The people there will change the way you see the world and everyone deserves the wonderous therapy of dysfunctional seniors.
