...especially when one Trojan spyware wrecks my whole Windows installation, causing me to reinstall, causing (somehow) the partitions on my system to become wonky and inaccessible. Did I say inaccessible? I'm sorry, they are accessible, but only if I boot up with a Linux live CD and start copying files to our home server ( Read more... )

Being the guy who dose the assistance is probably a better paying job, but you've got to put up with the morons you'd normally talk to over the phone in person. Which is probably both just as bad as dealing with them on the phone, or worse in case you get the idea of wrapping a tire iron around their neck.

But either way, hope the job works out and maybe you should try running your system entirely in Linux. I know if a program called Wine that's a windows emulator, with a little fiddling you can make it run any windows application in Linux.
