First year Russian, interesting choice. I'm taking a Speech class because I registered the day before the deadline and couldn't take any placement tests, so my options were limited. Want to take French later in the year though, I took two years in high school and kinda liked it. Russian would be a cooler language to know, however.
I was thinking Japanese ( ^_^ * ^_^ ), but there was already a waiting list some seven people long when I registered. And there are apparently only two classes in the whole system, one at the campus near me and another that may as well be in the boonies for how close I am to it, so the chance of getting in was pretty small.
Plus, community college Japanese class. I can just envision the sort of people in it =/ . No, I don't want to see Naruto. I probably still wouldn't even if you bothered to take a shower "extra special for me", like you usually don't.
I took some Japanese, it was pretty difficult. Mostly the syntax, but I'm sure if you were willing to devote the required time to it it'd be a fun one to learn. My brother mastered in it, and it's taken him pretty far.
