Can I just take a second to say that, as a citizen of the United States, I am embarrassed and disgusted that members of our government are acting like such childish imbeciles. Blaming and pointing fingers isn't going to solve anything. Neither is acting like a stubborn ass.

No kidding... Especially the republicans... need to do their homework! Cutting funds to social services is a FRACTION of the federal budget. Not to mention it serves a ton of people...

What's worse is that if the govt shuts down, Congress and the President still get paid.
