So, finals are approaching and Marissa wrote a kick ass poem. So I decided to post it and rave about her abilitity to make me smile through prose
'Twas the week before finals and all through the hall,
The students finished up the semester: fall.
When listening closely all that could be heard,
Was studying, crying, but never a word.
I fear all my finals, though knowing I'll pass,
Despite the whole "French-paper-kicking-my-ass."
The snow is fast falling but inside I dwell,
Trapped in my poly-sci studying hell.
So I sit inside with my highlighter blue,
Wishing that I could be outside with you.
This studying thing really needs to get done,
So my internet, computer, telephone; shunned.
With my books gathered, I shout with all of my might,
"Happy snowfall to all, I'm in Trinkle all night!"
