You know you've worked too long in the veterinary field when you hear your cat snoring, and the first thing you think is "AWWW! She's sleeping so soundly, I haven't heard that before", quickly followed by "ZOMG, I haven't heard that before, what if it's a nasal tumor!?!?" :-P -

Jacob just crawled for the first time! He's been working on this back-and-forth type motion. It usually results in him scooting back or faceplanting. Found a likely dojo to check out. Hopefully they are actually offer the classes they say they do, have good instructors, and are reasonably priced. Probably too much to ask for, but a girl can dream, right? I know I'll never run in to another East Wind. :-( At least I now know what the ideal is, though. -

I just looked up the nutrition facts for Steak 'N Shake. I knew it would be bad, but... wow. A regular shake is 700+ calories?!? Damn it. I adore the malts! I am now very, very sad. :-( -
