-I say we ban the SUV, too. No one needs that much power or that much room in a vehicle. The SUV was designed for Americans to feel like they're on their way to a war... while pickin up the kids from soccer practice! With peak oil coming up in the next few decades, we really should start conserving our shit.

-Rebuilding Nawlins is gonna take a long time, and it'll probably be largely directed by the oil companies that depend on the area to move petroleum in from South and Central America. It won't be the same place ever again.

-Miers may have also withdrawn cuz... well... you know... her job as a lawyer was to cover up the Bush family's dirty deals. Heh. Dried-up cornbread honky ass bitch!
