Well, Josh had an interview this past Thursday and they liked him so he's being flown out to Kansas City, Missouri this Wednesday.

Getting job interviews is good and the company isn't a horrible prospect. I'm not sure how I feel about Kansas City - I don't know anything about it. Still, San Diego remains the first choice. They're supposed to call ( Read more... )

•  Today I got an e-mail about registering for classes for next semester. And I got to delete it. It felt really good.



• Last week I handed in "here's how to spell and pronouce my name" form. Now when I get it, they'll say "NAY-dough" rather than "NAH-due". Woohoo.

Upon reading that other post it occurs to me that perhaps I'm having issues with the fact that I don't have too much control over my life right now. That's not to say my life is "out of control" but definitely lacking control. And we all know that i like organization....

 This whole end of school thing is just draining me. I'm just burnt out. I've thought I was burnt out before, but I had no idea. And yet there's still so much more to get done this term.

I feel like everywhere I turn, there's still something stressing me out. I've got midterms, papers, and readings along with a capstone paper coming up. When I take ( Read more... )

And I think she makes an excellent point... All that money toward denying someone rights and there are people starving in the same place. It's sad, it really is.

 Well, as usual I'm actively avoiding work I need to do for tomorrow... so  livejournal post it is.

Classes are still plugging along. I have 2 final papers to work on over thanksgiving break. I have a rough draft due when I get back for Caribbean Women's Literature, so I'll need to finish that, and then I have a 4 page paper for my Philosophy class ( Read more... )

 Amongst the celebration last night, Gay Rights was kind of forgotten about. But once I woke up this morning and checked the news it was pointed out to me that Gay Marriage was banned in Arizona... and what's worse, Gay men and women have been denied the right to adopt children.
