so- i have to write laura- director of education, senior actor, general badass, and master of my apprenticeship an email because i have been acting a little on the "needs-to-be-medicated" side of crazy in our classes. the situation is- a few weeks ago we were assigned new monologues and i was assigned juliet. from romeo and juliet. for some reason

When I was having...a horrible time with my self-confidence in a class with one of my favorite professors, I just let it consume me and ended up completely ruining the class for me/being a waste of time/money. On the last day of class, in a panic, I went to my professor and forever humiliated myself by crying in front of him and being unable to explain myself.

His response: Why didn't you talk to me about this sooner? There's nothing I can do to help you now.

I don't think there's anything wrong with you addressing this to Laura. Certainly better sooner than later.

thanks, it all seems much better this morning than it did last night. i think i will probably just speak to her, though, because it all seems less dramatic when i talk about it.
