Poor Maya is sick, no doubt a consequence of starting her new daycare two weeks ago. She seems to love it, which is great. However we actually have no idea what she does in there, since they don't allow parents during school hours and she can't yet tell us what they've been up to. odd that they don't let you drop by, daycares here couldn't get away with that, we are too paranoid a culture. :) but if she's happy, that'll tell you what you need to know.

oh god, that first year marisol was sick ALL the time. it takes a while i guess to build up that tolerance. plan for a long winter of colds, i'm afraid; stock up on medicinals. but when you all come out the other end of it, you'll be tolerant of anything lol.

awww, preschool. i know there's a lot of back and forth about whether kids need preschool, but when you have an only child like we do, it really is good for them -- marisol advanced so much by getting all that exposure to other kids and new experiences! she loved it! it became a second home to her.

hey, just read your last 2 posts. sorry to hear you and maya are sick! goes without saying i hope you're both feeling better soon.

that's awesome that she seems to like the daycare! :) i'm sure it'd be a stressor if she didn't.

and holy carp - potentially moving in november?!?!? exciting times ahead, for sure! :)
