Summer 2011?

Well weather-wise, it's been like having almost no summer at all. I've been feeling a bit depressed, because I get a whole lot of happiness out of warm days, wearing light clothing, and generally making merry outside, which has not been possible. We do make the most of the days we have, of course. And now when it hits 70 degrees F I'm all excited

Try not to get too down. It has been a cool summer in Spain as well - I don't think this is normal. And the heat in the US has really been just horrible, unbearable. Be glad you can at least go outside, because there it was simply impossible during the day (in Charleston and for a couple of days in Boston). That, for me, is worse.

Besides, you can save your money and go on a tropical vacation when it is cold there, which is really when you need it most.
