busy, busy weekend. i worked on my car, baked (a rhubarb/ginger crumble and a pecan pie), ran errands, lots of cleaning, played soccer, and hung out with family. in between i had naps and church services. life gets away too fast, and i am a careless passenger. back at work again tomorrow, with evenings already full. too much busyness is perhaps not ( Read more... )

ok buddy, you be good now

my dog is ill (and old). we will likely have to have him put down tomorrow, which is a silly euphemism. in any case, my buddy will be gone. it makes me sad, because he's a better friend than probably any people i know.

i woke up at 2 am and can't sleep anymore ... thought it was morning. ah, life.
