Poor NANA XD I was madly in love with it at one point (I'm somewhere at vols 14-15 I think, and watched about 15 eps) till I got spoiled by some prick at an anime store. Just downloaded the latest chapters recently and hope to get back into it again, but it'll probably be a long time before I catch up with the anime. I so want a Hachi dog keychain plush, she cracks me up XD
I'm primarily a shounen/seinen fan myself, the first few series that got me into this state of geekdom were shounen (FMP, Naruto, Bleach) and I branched out from there. Where shounen can make up for so-so characters and crap plots with action as distraction, shoujo doesn't have flashy action panels to rely on so I'm a lot pickier when it comes to shoujo. The ones I do like win hard though.
Pairings kind of person huh? I'm rather fond of Itachi myself, enigmatic and the looks don't hurt either. I wonder what sort of Itachi pairings you like though, considering his aloofness in the series (not that that's stopped fandom from pairing him up w/ everything but the kitchen sink XD).
I'd prefer a layout that allows wider images within posts, atm it gets clipped off by the adbox on the right (which seems to be a standard thing that comes w/ plus accounts). Need to figure out layout hax yay. (And your layout does rock, I like the colour scheme and it's clean and sharp =D)
-Currently watching Bleach, Naruto, Gurren Lagann and, on and off, Death Note and a handful of others. Also enjoying Bleach more than Naruto, although I'm loathe to admit it. -Current favorite is Gurren Lagann. -I haven't any genre preferences, actually, although the more light-hearted the story and the more light the art style and setting, the more I tend to enjoy it. Cowboy Bebop is a bit dark and is the major exception. -You already know about my fandom wangst. Fuck cats, why is Kubo photocopying the SS arc and calling it Bleach? It sounds lovely, but like 90% of the anime series that're recommended to me, I'll probably end up not watching it. For some reason my laziness actually extends to downloading anime/TV shows/etc, which just shows the absurd extent of it.
