Start with one romance language and conquer the rest more easily, or so it seems! I level 10'd Italian and Spanish which I have zero proficiency in based on guesswork off French knowledge (terms learnt in piano helped for Italian too) - etymology is a beautiful thing :]

I can do basic conversation, but my aim is to read fluently because truth be told, much like learning Chinese learning Japanese w/o kanji is worthless X'D All those damn homophones!

Yeah, though Chemistry is a HELL NO. When I found out I didn't have to take chemistry cause if the type of college I was applying to (Art school) I gladly dropped it and took Anatomy instead. :D

Oh, I remember that website! I hardly ever got the answers right. But it sounds like it has gotten better so I might go at it again. If I could master any language overnight... it would probably be... Chinese, or French or Japanese. IDK. XD

French is so elegant but the pronunciation is so tricky DX Everytime I need a reminder why people who learn English as a second/third etc. language have trouble pronouncing words I simply read a French passage - bam!instant empathy XD
