Retail is always a challenge, but often amusing. Woman wants to return a box of hair coloring. She has a receipt which I scan to do the return. System says this item is not on this receipt. Oh yes - you have brought back "happy" memories of when I worked in retail while I was at college ... even pre-computers we could still tell what dept the item came from, but try explaining that to a customer!!!!

I've seen coworkers brought to tears by jerks. I've had other guests defend me when people get rude. I've reached the point where I don't allow it to bother me as much. It's part of the job.
