Is there any song that is less Goth than The Cure's "Why Can't I Be You?" I think Artie Shaw and his Orchestra recorded darker melodies than that peppy little show tune. Great song to get the morning started though, if not in a moodily poetic fashion

But it's such a peppy tune! To me it was always like Robert Smith was doing a little jig while lamenting why he can't be with me.

My sister and high school BFF waited outside by the tour bus after a Cure concert in 1985 and Robert Smith signed his autograph on my arm. Then we followed them to their hotel in Georgetown and tried to convince their security that we were hotel guests and should let us go to their floor. Oh, to be 15 again! As for the autograph...I carefully covered it up in saran wrap and scotch tape for a week afterwards so it wouldn't wash off in the shower.

As for BB11, isn't Jesse a repeat? Wasn't he on last year?

I'm glad you didn't get sepsis from that preservation effort! Now that's a fan, boys and girls.

Jesse is a repeat. Won a pass back in when the athletes won the first competition. He is such a human cartoon, it is amazing he has a three dimensional form.
