And then, having made an effort to really try to change things, and having been personally disenfranchised during the Republican convention, I find it hard to be other than complacent now.

Of course, the idea of Palin as president did terrify me...
And it sucks that you were shut out of the Republican convention the way you were. I really do wonder about the future of that party and what it will look like in four, or even two, years.
