TV in Review: My attempt to get some coherent thoughts out on a few shows before the new season starts and I have way too many other new episodes to deal with.
Bones
What an epic couple show. Booth/Bones reminds me of old school Mulder/Scully or Sydney/Vaughn. It's the defining relationship for the series lead(s). Good news - they have the most

I've only not seen Psych and Burn Notice on this list.
I swear to god, there must be something in the Lit fandom that makes us watch the same shows. Or perhaps just our impeccably good taste. I'm definitely going to try and find time to watch those shows I haven't watched but I pretty much agree with everything you've put here.
And also, David and Emily? Are they not the most hilarious people ever?

I think that must be it :)

Yes, yes they are. The DVD commentary on "Two Bodies in the Lab" was probably one of the best I've ever heard. So funny. I adore them.

Thanks! Dwight is just joy in awkward beet-farming form.

Ahahahahaaaaa that is EXACTLY the same reaction i had once i finally watched FNL a week ago. I didn't really feeeeeel like watching it before, though, man! Blah blah it's really good, yeah whatever, football, yawn. BUT OH MAN IT'S SO GOOD!!! I LOVE IT.
Re: VM, just stop watching after season one. Season one is totally awesome (particularly the END of season one, oh man you have such amazing stuff coming up), but it falls apart after that. S2 has SOME moments and then s3 is just... terrible. :/

It was actually all of your posts about FNL that made me start watching recently. (Partly because you have great taste and I figured "If Marina is this excited, I must at least try it." - partly because your commentary is always fabulously hilarious and rambling and I can't read it until I watch the episodes.)
I totally snagged one of your pretty icons too. I love it when you icon shows we have in common. :)

Your enthusiasm is not something to be trifled with :)

Just wanted to comment on Veronica Mars and give my opinion on how much you should watch: Season 1 is perfection! I loved Season 2 as well however. The overall structure isn't as good, but the awesome moments outweigh that completely in my opinion. Season 3, I enjoyed for the most part - the problem is it doesn't hold up in comparison to S1 and 2 and the direction the storylines and characters take is pretty hard to take at times. I'm glad I watched it though. :)

Re: Veronica Mars, I tend to try to watch a whole show through until it just sucks for me, or I'm at the conclusion of some storyline I really wanted to see resolved. I don't know how long I'll stick in VM for, but it's nice to have the option now that the whole series is there for the viewing.
ps. How excited are you for Heores?

I worry about the hype too. I was in best buy today and they literally had an entire wall of Heroes DVD sets. Insanity. It's this adding new characters business that most freaks me out. Though if they have to add anyone, I'm more than pleased David Anders is among the list. :P
