i know you're probably thinking of santa cruz? but gotta tell you,
the city has tons of rental signs up right now. i've even seen signs with 'all utilities included' on them, which is new.. the downside to this is, rent doesn't seem to be going down anything significant for the most part, and you've probably been following the news- bart & muni fares are going up.

yeah. gav likes sf, a lot. the pull to santa cruz is basically that i know i have a job, there. the city would be tougher on the dogs, i think. we could live in the sunset, and be close to fort funston- i suppose. but what i'd REALLY like is a fenced in yard somewhere, for them. they totally deserve it. portland is very appealing, too. but job-ness kinda reins supreme, you know?
