 Nobody knows what to say to me anymore. It's been a year since I became an infertility patient. I thought I had steeled myself. I'd known about my condition before I was even a teenager. But my mother had it, and her mother had it- and here I am, right? Women with PCOS have babies all this time. Not this woman

I'm sorry you have to go through this, Grace. I can only imagine how difficult it must be. One of my coworkers found out last year that she and her husband can't have children and I know it was heartbreaking for her. I think they've decided not to go through any treatments and are hoping to adopt when they get into a better place financially. My parents had actually started going through the adoption process when my mom found out she was pregnant with my brother. Tough and painful decisions, I think.

I hope that things work out for you guys and that you can find happiness in whatever outcome you reach.
