Well, my Harry Potter weekend has drawn to a close. Saw "Order of the Phoenix" on Friday night, paced like a restless idiot until the Book came Saturday afternoon, was thrilled by the adorable Amazon packaging ("Attention Muggles---do not open until July 21!") read voraciously off and on while trying to still be at least a semblance of a mother ( Read more... )

That sounds lovely. Most of my long stretches of reading happened after I put the girls to bed. When they're up, there's no chance of my butt staying in one place for any length of time. :)

Ah, my hubby was pretty happy to leave me alone most of the day yesterday so I could read the book. He knew I wouldn't be content with the one or two chapters we'll read aloud as a family every night! I just finished the book about an hour ago myself. My neck is a bit sore from the way I was holding my head, but it was worth it, LOL!

Yep, mine pretty much accepted that he was wifeless until the book was done, too. I can't imagine that he would have wanted to live with me waiting for it any longer. :)
