I just bought the soundtrack to Wicked and let me say: I LOVE IT. I'm reading the book too, and finding it very worth the time. It gives me the performing itch a bit too, such good songs....

The book is great, too...do you like it so far?
Yeah, it's a bit odd (as justin said)...especially the random sex scenes (if you haven't gotten to them yet, beware...they come out of NOWHERE and leave just as quickly)...but i ADORE the story-line...

You are so lucky you get to see this show, I'm loving the music! If you could play Elphaba or Galinda, which would you choose??

As for the book, I'm not very far in but I like it so far, I like fantasy to some extent. Random sex scenes?? Oh I'll watch out for those.

lol I would probably want Elphaba...but i don't think ANYONE can do that part as well as Idina Menzel...holy cow she's amazing...

WICKED!!! OH MY GOSH! its my fayvie. we did it at klahowya for the talent show this year (me-i did elphaba kenneth-did fiyero and chante martinelli-did galinda) we did all the popular songs and acted them out, pretty much the songs without the chorus. so the wizard and i, what is this feeling, dancing through life, popular, im not that girl, defying gravity, im not that girl reprise, as long as youre mine, no good deed, and for good to end the show. it was so amazing! we didnt do that great but there were a few songs that really shined. and one of my life goals to be elphaba in the show someday, kenneth told me it isnt that him and i will get there, its a matter of time :] heres a pic from after our show:

I knew you were very into this show, which is part of why I wanted to check it out, you have good taste. I love this picture, how fun! I wish I could have seen the talent show stuff you did.
