I'm a big fan of a comic called Ozy and Millie, by Dana Simpson/bluerain . spiffieus introduced it to me back in 1999 or 2000, before I was really aware of the implications of reading an internet comic with anthropomorphic animals.  I'm more aware now and tread carefully when discussing such things; it doesn't come up too often since O&M was the only bit of furry

I've shown O&M to plenty of people, and none of them were like 'OMG furries'. They were like, 'cute, there are talking animal-people in it' (and they do know about the existence of furridom).

I can't help but wonder if it's because you expected such a poor reaction, so you were thinking 'ooookay this might be, y'know, a *furry* comic', and so you communicated your discomfort and got that reaction. How did you present it?
