In clicking a link for one of the (non-local) Initiates, I ended up (a couple clicks later) looking at pics of the local RenFest, actually recognizing (from sight, not from acquaintance) some of the people in them. I have to say, after looking at interests/'community involvement', I have to say that location given was most ironic given that there's only one thing I know the place for. That, among other things today (well, yesterday, since it's Monday technically) have put smiles on my face. Oh, Iffy, there's an 'alton' comm listed that you might enjoy, too. *g*
Spent the day helping to celebrate the b'day of d_and_cats with f_butterfly, xochiquetzl, and purklesuu. After lunch at RuSan's, we got a bit more ready for Episode III's opening by watching the first two. Today was the first time I'd seen the second one. Then I tapped D and X's compu-knowledge... I am so technologically impaired!! Still hoping for 99X to surprise me by pulling my name for some of those tickets for Thursday night. It would be too perfect, given that I get off work right before the show starts. Hmmm... yeah, I know, it's not happening... a girl can wish for anything she wants, though, y'know???
Chibermonkey's last match of the season. So many emails from his coach about the weather. Would've tickled me to no end to have seen it get cancelled, and HM not finding out until too late. Most effective for that would've been that match in frickin' Blairsville! Seeing that would've been Good Times!!! yes, I'm still thinking of painful solutions to everyday problems.
