[Slugger is about to cross a relatively vacant intersection when he's approached by some guy. But he'll pretend not to notice as he steps over the curb and onto the street.

Try to hold his hand though and may your entity of choice help you, Hibari.]

[ And he'll immediately get in Slugger's way. ] Hey -- safety comes first, kid! You don't wanna get run over by a car, do you? I heard some lady got run over not that long ago, you know!

[Mildly terrified, and not by the story of the lady getting run over.

Slugger will now grip the bill of his cap and avoid eye contact as he tries to get around Hibari.]

[ Unfortunately, this drone is a very persistent one. Some things just don't change. ]

Whoa, whoa. Slow down for a second! Geez, didn't anybody ever teach you to "stop, look, and listen"?

[He looks at the only car in sight. Then back at Hibari.]

But one could come by at any time.

But I know and use traffic safety. Something you should probably consider learning! [ ... It's kind of a stretch, even for drone logic. ]

Oh, it's easy. First you stop. [ He stands very still. ] Then you look. [ And he makes an over-exaggerated act of looking all around. ] And then you listen! [ He cups a hand to his ear to pantomine hearing. ]
