[ Hibari's sitting on the porch throwing snowballs at passersby today -- if you're passing by Cunningham Lane, chances are you'll be getting one thrown square to the chest, or even better, your head. His aim's pretty good, and he throws hard. He might be (sadistically?) smiling a little at anybody who looks around confusedly, wondering where that

[ this is as close as Hibari will ever get to laughing out loud -- it really says a lot about his personality!

Also, he's throwing another snowball at poor Lambo. ]

[Theta leans heavily on a cane as she paces around outside, trying to get a bit of exercise and sunlight in even in the winter. She falls to the ground when she's hit with a snowball, the hard hit being enough to unbalance her.]

[ Well, it'd be a lie to say that Hibari feels bad (basic human decency, what is that?) -- but he's not such a terrible person that he attacks a person who's already down.

In other words, he will be oh-so-gallantly ignoring her. ]

[Theta seems to be having major troubles getting up--she can't manage it at all with her disability.]

[ Conflict of interests:1. Hibari does not really care what happens.
2. But, Hibari doesn't want a struggling woman in the yard. It was interesting to watch for all of maybe ten seconds. Now it's just annoying.
Finally, after a few more minutes, he decides on a way to compromise his interests. He gets up slowly and walks over, intent on... dragging her over to somebody else's yard, thus making her Somebody Else's Problem. ]

[Ein dodges this at the last second.]

Whoa! It's you!

[ There's a short pause as he places who Ein is. ] Your skills are still sharp, I see.

[Ein sighs at the comment.] And you're still straightforward as ever.

[kuichigiru]

[ He shrugs at that. He is what he is. ]

We never got a rematch in the tournament -- how far did you make it?

[reluctantnanny]

[Nothing like a ball of COLD smacking into your head while you were out for a walk, head up in the clouds pondering your worries.]

. . . [Turning and glaring.] Oy, you on the porch. Was that you?

[ His response is to ignore the other in favor of scoping out his next victim. But, the small pile of snowballs sitting next to him is a clear enough answer anyways. ]

But, seriously, Hibari's not easily intimidated, so he's probably not going to lose any sleep over this. ]

[ This one's trudging home after a day of buying Christmas presents, arms laden with shopping bags from a variety of Mayfield's stores. Garnet is much more focused on keeping her balance upon the slippery sidewalk than her surroundings.

Chances are you are not getting an easier target today. ]

[ He'll go easy* on her because he doesn't want her to drop all her stuff over the yard and cause unnecessary disturbances for him.

*What "going easy" really means is that the snowball will be aimed at her back instead of her head and isn't so heavily thrown that it feels more like a rock than a snowball. ]
