Rest in Peace, Lucy.
I took Lucy to the vet this morning because her face had swollen up and she was acting very listless. They gave me a syringe and some food to help feed her, but after about the third try, she wouldn't swallow it. It would only cake up in her mouth. I called the vet this afternoon and he told me just to make her comfortable. I did the best I could, ( Read more... ) -

After my ortho appointment today, I scuttle by the grocery store since I'm out of food at work. I'm so in the wrong business.
It's disturbing, yet amusing at the same time. I've always joked with my mom about finding a squirrel and getting it taxidermied for her (since she likes and collects squirrels), but now I know I'm in the wrong business. o__o;
Squirrels are expensive.

I'm feeling better now. Still not confident enough to eat like a freakin' horse, but at least confident enough to eat some leftover mashed potatoes and birthday cake. :3 I hope I can stay better through the rest of my stay. -

OH SIGH.
We're redoing our floors in the kitchen and it's going... not very wonderfully. Our floor isn't level, so we're improvising on some of this stuff. I.e., using a nailgun.
