Heart Attack averted

I learned that valuable lesson back in college. I lend out a few of my Ranma graphic novels to a guy, it took him forever to get them back to me, unless he wanted the next book, and always returned them to me in poor shape. I stopped lending out books after that (and I lied about how many of them I owned so he didn't destroy anymore). Not that anyone I know now wants to borrow my books.

There were already a handful of things I had on a "no borrow list" so to speak. I guess I just have to add this book to it. At least the girl who had mine took good care of it. :P

One nice thing about being anti-social and having absolutely no one in the area that I have anything in common with is that I don't worry about my books falling into disrepair in the hands of another. Now what I do to my things when I'm being my typical klutzy self, that's something different entirely. I nearly destroyed a few graphic novels a few months ago when I tipped my water bottle all over the computer desk. *scream!*

*LOL*

*chuckle* I know that scream well. I had a couple of volumes of japanese manga that fell out of my bag and in a puddle on my way home from work one day. It's the slow motion "Noooooooooooooooo" as you watch them soak up the liquid.
