No making yourself too crazy! I get obsessed for a bit after I clean with the "don't put that there!" and such but it is typically pretty short lived as otherwise I'd be totally nuts. I do know when the house is messy and I've had a bad day it kicks off my chaos meter and it is the first thing I want resolved asap.

My mom was very much the same way and it surely rubbed off a bit. She has relaxed tremendously as she has gotten older which is good to see.

It's hard to find the balance between simply giving up and letting dishes and dirt and hair and dust accumulate and wanting it all to be impossibly gone. There will ALWAYS be more to clean, and you'll never be completely finished. AHHH!

Working on the perfectionism bit this week. I'm too tired and have too many other things to do to be too crazy about it!

indeed indeed! you'd vomit at my place. when it's uncluttered, i consider it "clean". i have a lot fo hair :)

anyway, no it can never be 1000% clean, because its like raking leaves, you know--the wind comes and blows your piles everywhere. bad analogy, but you get my drift...........
