Asch the Bloody
★ Whether the two of them like it or not, Asch is Luke's original, and tensions between them are high because of it. Asch makes sure to let Luke know that he took everything away from him and that he's nothing more than an inferior replica, and despite the many kicks to his self-esteem, Luke always keeps coming back. He desperately wants to make sure Asch is okay, that his life is getting better now that he knows everything, because Asch deserves it far more than he does. At the same time, Luke knows that him being close to Asch just makes things worse, so he tries to distance himself. Thus, it's a constant war with himself to try and be closer and get away at the same time.
Ultimately, it was because of Asch that Luke opened his eyes and saw just what he had done and caused him to change himself for the better, and he'll never forget that fact. He owes a lot to Asch, and even moreso thanks to events in Luceti. In a way, Luke looks at Asch like how one would look at a long lost older brother, especially after a certain event that made them twins, though he'd never admit this out loud, since he's sure Asch would only shove him down for it. He just wants Asch to be happy, no matter what that takes. As long as he himself can check up on him and make sure of it.

Dist the Rose Reaper
★ Dist is... weird, for lack of a better word. Luke can't really understand him, and in a way, he kind of feels sorry for him. He's always ignored, always underestimated... But Dist just kind of... deserves it, with that attitude of his. No matter how much Luke might try, he just. Can't be impressed by the guy. In the future, though, he might just give him another chance, especially since he's like a back-up Jade at this point.
Luke knows that Dist is way smarter than he appears to be. He builds huge robots that really put up a fight, he flies around in an awesome chair, and he knows more about replication than possibly even Van. For that, Luke does have some respect for him, although it's hard to feel it the second Dist opens his mouth. It's especially hard since Dist just kind of sees him as just another replica. His respect has lowered a little now that he's realized that Dist was partially responsible for Ion's death, though he does still know how capable he is. If Jade is to withhold any information from him, he might just go to Dist, knowing that he knows things about replicas that Luke himself does not.

Fon Master Ion
★ IT'S A TRAP Ion is quite possibly one of the kindest beings that Luke has ever known. Even when Luke was nothing but a jerk to him, he always found some way to see the kindness in the action and throw him completely off. Sometimes, he'd see him as too kind, as he wouldn't even fight back when he'd be kidnapped for the thousandth time. But it's certainly expected out of him, and while Luke may complain about it, he doesn't particularly mind saving him again and again. His kindness is almost something that Luke can rely on, and thus Ion is a close friend that Luke can trust.
And through all of that, he learned that Ion is a replica, just like him. That really put a twist on things, for Ion's always been so calm and mature, so much... older compared to him, and able to take the fact that he's a replica without batting an eye. Learning of this caused Luke to feel a tremendous amount of respect for Ion, something he still feels and thinks about when he starts to feel down on himself for what he is. It's depressing to think that there are others like him out there, as Luke believes that he himself is one replica too many in a world where they shouldn't exist, but at the same time, he finds a tremendous comfort in that fact. In a way, Luke can't help but feel a sense of similarity when it comes to Ion as well as friendship. Now that he knows Ion will die back in his world, Luke is more determined than ever to make this new life a good one for Ion, especially knowing why he died for it. Luke owes him a lot for saving Tear's life, and he knows it, even though Ion likely won't have it.

★ While the most that Luke knows about Gelda is what Jade told him, from his talk with her, he can gather that she's a very nice, if somewhat strict kind of person; just the girl who'd get Jade to start to change his ways a little. But while Luke is getting used to the fact that the dead can be brought back here, it still remains in his mind that she's still talking and breathing right in front of him, when he knows she should be dead. It's a lot like how one would feel if Abraham Lincoln suddenly appeared and talked as if nothing at all had happened to him.
Still, Luke would like to try and get to know her better. She got a person like Jade and even Dist to be so enamored that he wanted to bring her back to life; that's got to be some kind of remarkable woman. He's learned that she's teaching school, too, and since Luke signed himself up for it, he's enjoyed having her as his teacher. Gelda is patient with him and lax in his attitude, much more so than Raine. He might not enjoy school very much, but he definitely enjoys seeing his favorite teacher.

★ Although Luke doesn't know a lot about Nephry, the fact that she actually grew up with Jade is enough to garner respect from anyone. Luke found that she was very nice, much more so than Jade, although a tad serious too. He isn't sure why she trusted only him with the secret of Jade's dark past, but he felt rather honored to be confided in, and so he honors that secret quite well. Not to mention that she really is nice, despite knowing what he is.
Nephry is someone that Luke can confide, as she's much older than the rest of the party (excluding Jade) and knows a lot about life's experiences, not to mention that she seems pretty cool with him. She's sort of like a mother figure - a female one, rather than having a mother like Guy around. Thus, he's come to want to make her happy and to protect her, and slowly, she's starting to work his way into his tight circle of friends. She is, at least, quite a refreshing change to how terrifying Jade can be.

Tear Grants
★ Tear is pretty special to Luke. Things were incredibly rocky when they first met, but they've come a very long way since then. She's the one who really changed his life from the moment he met her by, of all things, kidnapping him. Of course, she didn't mean to. But the long trek and the changes that followed all originated from that point, and Tear followed him from then until now. She even stayed with him when all the others had abandoned him, although she says that it wasn't to be with him. Still, that touched him greatly, and he can't help but think highly of her because of all that's happened.
He worries over her, he tries to help her as much as he can, he's always the first to rush in if she falls or gets hurt. Because really, Tear pushes herself and bottles everything up, and that's just plain worrisome to Luke, especially since he cares a great deal for her. She's like another big sister and a mentor, not to mention that sometimes he gets quite flustered when it comes to her. Now that she's here in Luceti, Luke will likely worry a lot more... if his housemates don't take up all of his attention, anyway.
Tear is the turning point in Luke's life, and he knows it. It doesn't hurt that she's got huge melons, either...

Elicia Hughes
★ Elicia's just the cutest person Luke has ever talked to. The only exposure he's really had to little kids was Anise, and she was far from a little kid. Talking with Elicia is just fun, especially when he can play games or tell epic stories or even be involved with her stories. Growing up, Luke never could have a proper childhood. Most of it was spent trying to teach him how to live, and he really only had a couple of people who would indulge in whatever childish fantasy he had in mind. Hanging around with Elicia makes him feel like he's reliving those childhood days properly, and it's both refreshing and very enjoyable.
Luke's memories of the first two or three years of his life is a blur, so he can't help wondering if he acted like her back then. Not dreaming about warrior princesses or having tea parties, of course, but running around over a loose tooth, believing what most adults would say, and just... well... acting cute. Not that he sees himself in her or anything, but it's just... so strange and yet so easy to relate to that he can't help wondering about things like that.
He hopes that she doesn't have to grow up here, but if she does, he'll instead hope that she grows into the warrior princess that she's fantasized about.

Emil Castagnier
★ Emil is a relationship Luke is working on. He genuinely likes the guy, even if he... treads too close sometimes in their conversations. Yes, he knows it's because Emil knew him in the past, in the time he doesn't remember. He understands it, but that doesn't make him any less uncomfortable with things Emil knows that Luke hasn't had the nerve to confess.
But Emil is a good person. Hell, he hugged Luke after he was done being a brat, something that surprised him considerably. He looks out for his friends, and he talks so closely to Luke because he cares and he knows about the problems he faces. Still, Luke would rather talk about it when he wants to.
At best, Luke sees Emil as a good friend, and with work, he can see them being good, solid friends in the future. But right now, he still avoids him a little, and conversation feels awkward sometimes. Luke's working on it, though, and maybe he'll even tell Emil what makes him so uncomfortable. Yet he has no doubts that they'll get through it.

Minato Arisato
★ Cool and collected - at least, that's what Minato seems like to Luke. He's not really sure what to think of him as a result. The world he comes from seems amazingly advanced to him, and while some aspects of such futuristic worlds bore him to tears, Minato's still interests him, and he'd like to learn more about it as well as Minato himself. He can't help it - Minato seems to act so much older than he really is, and so Luke has a little notion that he must have the wisdom for it, too.
One thing's for sure - Minato's helped him with little things plenty of times, like how to use the speaker to cover up and the dark and terrifying view of the deep sea ocean in the draft, asking for a doctor when Luke was sick with pneumonia, and all with a calm aura that helps to settle Luke down as well. He's definitely interested in learning more about him and helping him in return, even if it's just the little things.

★ Despite the fact that Miyabi is about eighty times smaller than he is, Luke still looks at her as another sister of sorts. She looked out for him when he turned small and helpless during an experiment, and she excitedly encourages him to keep doing art and writing even though he doesn't think he's good at it, not to mention how well they click. Their first meeting started out pretty badly, what with him calling her a firefly (a BIG mistake) and her accidentally scaring the pants off of him by explaining the situation he was in all at once, but as time went on, they began to get along exceedingly well, almost like siblings.
It's because he sees her this way that he's hesitant to tell her his secrets - that he's a replica, that he's killed thousands of people, that he has the power to destroy more - because he doesn't want to lose her as a friend. Someday, he might reveal at least one of these things to her, especially since the people of Luceti seem to be pretty open towards replicas. But until then, Luke would rather just be Luke around her, not a copy of Asch or a mere weapon.

★ Technically, the first time Luke met Nami was before their actual encounter, but Luke remembers the latter the most. He was woken up by shouting, and he stomped down only to see Nami. Totally naked. In Guy's bed.
HE WILL NEVER FORGET THAT.
All that he really knows about Nami is that she's one of Guy's close friends, and she apparently learned how to tease fon Fabres from Asch, because she sure likes to do so with him, too. But at the same time, she seems understanding enough as well as confident in herself. Maybe he'll get to talk to her more - he sure hopes so, especially if she happens to like talking to him. But at the moment, she will always be the girl he found naked in Guy's bed.

★ From the moment they held hands in the forest, Luke felt a sort of connection with Noel. He wasn't sure what it was, but once he realized that they both had tears in their eyes over something that was out of their control, he knew that he had to talk to her again, to get to know her better. There was just something there that he had to figure out. He thought he found it when she stumbled onto the replica filter, outing herself as one of them. She was a replica, just like he was; a clone of someone else, a person who was made and not born. He didn't want to just leave her alone, especially with the way she reacted, and thus he ran after her along with Xion, and again, he felt like they were in the forest again. There was something deeper there, some kind of connection that he didn't understand.
Then he truly found it when Noel became Kusanagi and attacked the village, killing several and severely wounding him. She had lost control and became a mindless weapon, the very thing she was built to be. Just like him. Unfortunately it took longer than he wanted to to get back to her on that, but when he did, he spilled the story of how he, too, was created to be a mass murderer, a tool of destruction. The two hugged, and for the first time Luke felt like he really understood that hidden connection he felt way back in the woods. They were truly the same, and though Luke feels awful for feeling this way, he can't help feeling a little relieved that there's someone out there who knows what that's like. Xion shares in this, and it's with that that he's grown so much closer to her and was able to step up and begin his journey towards finding himself again. Knowing that there was someone else out there... It's both horrifying and a wonderful relief to know that someone knows what you're going through. How hearing it wasn't your fault doesn't really lift the burden - they killed and hurt people, innocent people who didn't deserve it! They were created for that sole purpose! It's hard to get yourself out of that rut, and now someone else knows what that's like.
Luke already feels like Noel's a good friend, and now that this has all been revealed, he's sure that he'll be pestering her and getting to know her even more, and he's excited for what kind of future that holds. Not just because they're so similar, but also because he genuinely likes her. She's fun to hang out with, and he enjoys spending a little time with her. One thing's for sure: he's awfully glad they crashed into each other in the forest, despite the fact that it kind of hurt.

★ Luke isn't really sure if Paprika is actually real. His first and only encounter with her was in one of his dreams, and unfortunately for him, it had to be one of his worse nightmares that she happened to stumble upon. Still, she unveiled a lot and saved him even in his shifting dreams, when they'd normally end terribly for him. The fact that she changed the very ending of his dreams impacted him, and the fact that she had wings like any other Luceti resident made him wonder just who she was.
Since he believes that Paprika is some sort of person conjured by his dream or someone he's met who's popping up in his dreams in the form of another person, Luke is compelled to talk to her about anything and everything. He's already told her much about his life in just one dream, though that was mostly because of their very setting - a dream. Not much can be held back within your own subconscious mind. Even though Luke is unsure about Paprika's existence, he'd very much like to see her again and get to know more about her next time, instead of her learning about him.

Rupert Giles
★ Luke actually carries a ton of respect for Giles, partly because he saw him as his uncle during that one experiment (and Giles as an uncle was so much better than his "real" uncle), but because he just seems so... wise, and not scary like Jade. He helped Luke tremendously when that shift effect was giving him so much pain during the draft, which bumped the respect points by a dozen. He even knew what to do - brought him to a safe place and tried to reassure him.
And then he was turned into a brat, and Giles still knew how to handle him. Sure, he was sarcastic, but that mostly flew over Luke's head, and he just saw how calm he was around the boy. High emotions affect Luke quite a lot, so Giles staying calm helped Luke stay calm, even as a brat.
With all of that out of the way, it leaves Luke looking at Giles as almost a mentor of sorts, even a friend. He's a little nervous around him, though, since he's not sure how he amounts to Giles and is a little afraid to know, a little afraid of possibly annoying him, especially after his brat episode... but he still wishes for a closer relationship of sorts.

★ Xion's bff/father figure. Just those words alone have a lot of weight to them that Luke can plainly see, if his nervousness around the man didn't tell him that before. Sanji seems confident and, in a way, judging of him for some reason, and it kind of feels like there are eyes watching him all the time when he's around. Thus, Luke feels a little intimidated around the guy, and Sanji's confidence doesn't help in that department, though Luke still tries to be polite and to be himself as much as he can.
But he's still close to Xion, and upon seeing them together, Luke could relate. It was the sort of relationship he had with Guy, and he was happy to see that a fellow replica like himself could find something like that, as it isn't easy to do so otherwise. He'd like to get on Sanji's good side for that reason, and... well, because he seems like a cool guy. Except for that "smoking stick" he always carries around. It doesn't smell very nice.

★ He thinks Sokka's a pretty cool guy. Eh makes swords and doesn't afraid of anything.
But really, it's kind of nice having a guy friend who is so much... like a guy. He makes weapons, he knows about camping, he shows he cares without making a big deal about it; there's just something guyish about him. And Luke can be quite guyish when he hangs out with others like that, and he likes feeling that way. So in a way, he feels like his physical age - a reckless seventeen year old guy rather than a kid who's trying to get past all the trauma that's been piled up on his shoulders.
Sokka just kind of seems like the type of person who doesn't worry too much over things, and thus Luke feels a little... lighter around him. It's why he wants to try hard to keep up with him, and to be on a good level of friendship. It's nice to have friends you don't worry too much about unless big problems arise, and vice versa. Not because you don't worry, but because you trust them enough. It kind of reminds him of the friendship he had with Guy, though he's sure it'll never, ever be as bromantic as they were.
Luke likes Sokka, and he hopes to become better friends with him. And hopefully not completely screw up the camping trip they have planned.

★ Xion was nice to him the moment she and Luke met, something that he isn't really used to. It left him flustered, almost nervous around her, but not in the way that Peony intimidated him. No, Luke kept wanting to do everything for her in return, even though he felt like he didn't deserve her kindness. She was so sweet and wonderful that Luke couldn't help gravitating to her and to consider her important as well. It didn't help that she seemed to genuinely like him for his personality and for all the things he did. As a result, he didn't want to lose her, and thus he bottled up all his dark secrets and just tried to be her friend.
That changed one winter evening when he finally admitted to Xion that he was a replica. To his great surprise, Xion admitted that she, too, was a replica, although not created in the same way, and that she was also made to be a weapon, that she also had no future, that she was also meant to die... Luke had never felt an emotional onslaught like he did that day, but most prominent were sheer sorrow for knowing that someone was just like him and sheer happiness for that very same reason. From that day on, Xion became extremely special to Luke, and even pivotal to his views. If someone as sweet as Xion, who has so many friends and is real, is a replica, then maybe the fact that they exist isn't so bad after all. That confidence may fade once the euphoria wears off, but Luke hopes that it doesn't. He hasn't felt this happy in a very long time, and it was all thank to Xion.
Luke had even fallen for her, though he was able to keep it hidden until they confronted each other about it after the Valentine's event. He was surprised, and extremely relieved and happy, to hear that she felt the same way for him. These days, they're in a strong and steady relationship, and they only grow closer and closer as times goes on.

★ From the start, Yuri made it clear that he had nothing against Luke for what he was. Luke happened to slip out that he was a replica, and Yuri responded without a care. This greatly surprised Luke, as most people who find out keep their distance and think of him as some kind of strange copy of a human. But Yuri did none of that. He became Luke's friend and accepted him for who he was, never judging him for it or even bringing it up again. Yuri might not know just how much that means to Luke.
Since then, Luke has made it his duty to consider Yuri a good friend and to check up on him when he can, even if he knows that Yuri doesn't need it. It's rare for him to come across someone who could accept someone different from them, and that's something that Luke needed. Not to mention that Yuri is a good partner to have in battle, as fighting alongside him in the war pointed out. Luke doesn't know a lot about Yuri, and he won't mind if he doesn't want to tell him, either. Yuri is just Yuri, regardless of his past or his actions or his way of thinking. Just like how Luke is Luke, regardless of him being a replica.
Update: Yuri's pretty much a bro at this point. He fought beside him, fought with him, and even nearly died beside him. It's pretty hard to go through that with someone and not feel some type of attachment to them. Now that all of this has happened, especially when he gripped Yuri's hand and wouldn't let go while he was scared and bleeding, and Yuri didn't say a word (of course he couldn't, but eh)... He's really up there with his closest friends. He'll probably never say anything like, say, Akzeriuth, but he'll certainly wish to hang out with him more and be more than willing to fight by his side again.

That really put a twist on things, for Ion's always been so calm and mature, so much... older compared to him, and able to take the fact that he's a replica without batting an eye. Learning of this caused Luke to feel a tremendous amount of respect for Ion, something he still feels and thinks about when he starts to feel down on himself for what he is. It's depressing to think that there are others like him out there, as Luke believes that he himself is one replica too many in a world where they shouldn't exist, but at the same time, he finds a tremendous comfort in that fact. In a way, Luke can't help but feel a sense of similarity when it comes to Ion as well as friendship. Now that he knows Ion will die back in his world, Luke is more determined than ever to make this new life a good one for Ion, especially knowing why he died for it. Luke owes him a lot for saving Tear's life, and he knows it, even though Ion likely won't have it.

★ While the most that Luke knows about Gelda is what Jade told him, from his talk with her, he can gather that she's a very nice, if somewhat strict kind of person; just the girl who'd get Jade to start to change his ways a little. But while Luke is getting used to the fact that the dead can be brought back here, it still remains in his mind that she's still talking and breathing right in front of him, when he knows she should be dead. It's a lot like how one would feel if Abraham Lincoln suddenly appeared and talked as if nothing at all had happened to him.
Still, Luke would like to try and get to know her better. She got a person like Jade and even Dist to be so enamored that he wanted to bring her back to life; that's got to be some kind of remarkable woman. He's learned that she's teaching school, too, and since Luke signed himself up for it, he's enjoyed having her as his teacher. Gelda is patient with him and lax in his attitude, much more so than Raine. He might not enjoy school very much, but he definitely enjoys seeing his favorite teacher.

★ Although Luke doesn't know a lot about Nephry, the fact that she actually grew up with Jade is enough to garner respect from anyone. Luke found that she was very nice, much more so than Jade, although a tad serious too. He isn't sure why she trusted only him with the secret of Jade's dark past, but he felt rather honored to be confided in, and so he honors that secret quite well. Not to mention that she really is nice, despite knowing what he is.
Nephry is someone that Luke can confide, as she's much older than the rest of the party (excluding Jade) and knows a lot about life's experiences, not to mention that she seems pretty cool with him. She's sort of like a mother figure - a female one, rather than having a mother like Guy around. Thus, he's come to want to make her happy and to protect her, and slowly, she's starting to work his way into his tight circle of friends. She is, at least, quite a refreshing change to how terrifying Jade can be.

★ Tear is pretty special to Luke. Things were incredibly rocky when they first met, but they've come a very long way since then. She's the one who really changed his life from the moment he met her by, of all things, kidnapping him. Of course, she didn't mean to. But the long trek and the changes that followed all originated from that point, and Tear followed him from then until now. She even stayed with him when all the others had abandoned him, although she says that it wasn't to be with him. Still, that touched him greatly, and he can't help but think highly of her because of all that's happened.
He worries over her, he tries to help her as much as he can, he's always the first to rush in if she falls or gets hurt. Because really, Tear pushes herself and bottles everything up, and that's just plain worrisome to Luke, especially since he cares a great deal for her. She's like another big sister and a mentor, not to mention that sometimes he gets quite flustered when it comes to her. Now that she's here in Luceti, Luke will likely worry a lot more... if his housemates don't take up all of his attention, anyway.
Tear is the turning point in Luke's life, and he knows it. It doesn't hurt that she's got huge melons, either...

★ Elicia's just the cutest person Luke has ever talked to. The only exposure he's really had to little kids was Anise, and she was far from a little kid. Talking with Elicia is just fun, especially when he can play games or tell epic stories or even be involved with her stories. Growing up, Luke never could have a proper childhood. Most of it was spent trying to teach him how to live, and he really only had a couple of people who would indulge in whatever childish fantasy he had in mind. Hanging around with Elicia makes him feel like he's reliving those childhood days properly, and it's both refreshing and very enjoyable.
Luke's memories of the first two or three years of his life is a blur, so he can't help wondering if he acted like her back then. Not dreaming about warrior princesses or having tea parties, of course, but running around over a loose tooth, believing what most adults would say, and just... well... acting cute. Not that he sees himself in her or anything, but it's just... so strange and yet so easy to relate to that he can't help wondering about things like that.
He hopes that she doesn't have to grow up here, but if she does, he'll instead hope that she grows into the warrior princess that she's fantasized about.

★ Emil is a relationship Luke is working on. He genuinely likes the guy, even if he... treads too close sometimes in their conversations. Yes, he knows it's because Emil knew him in the past, in the time he doesn't remember. He understands it, but that doesn't make him any less uncomfortable with things Emil knows that Luke hasn't had the nerve to confess.
But Emil is a good person. Hell, he hugged Luke after he was done being a brat, something that surprised him considerably. He looks out for his friends, and he talks so closely to Luke because he cares and he knows about the problems he faces. Still, Luke would rather talk about it when he wants to.
At best, Luke sees Emil as a good friend, and with work, he can see them being good, solid friends in the future. But right now, he still avoids him a little, and conversation feels awkward sometimes. Luke's working on it, though, and maybe he'll even tell Emil what makes him so uncomfortable. Yet he has no doubts that they'll get through it.

★ Cool and collected - at least, that's what Minato seems like to Luke. He's not really sure what to think of him as a result. The world he comes from seems amazingly advanced to him, and while some aspects of such futuristic worlds bore him to tears, Minato's still interests him, and he'd like to learn more about it as well as Minato himself. He can't help it - Minato seems to act so much older than he really is, and so Luke has a little notion that he must have the wisdom for it, too.
One thing's for sure - Minato's helped him with little things plenty of times, like how to use the speaker to cover up and the dark and terrifying view of the deep sea ocean in the draft, asking for a doctor when Luke was sick with pneumonia, and all with a calm aura that helps to settle Luke down as well. He's definitely interested in learning more about him and helping him in return, even if it's just the little things.

★ Despite the fact that Miyabi is about eighty times smaller than he is, Luke still looks at her as another sister of sorts. She looked out for him when he turned small and helpless during an experiment, and she excitedly encourages him to keep doing art and writing even though he doesn't think he's good at it, not to mention how well they click. Their first meeting started out pretty badly, what with him calling her a firefly (a BIG mistake) and her accidentally scaring the pants off of him by explaining the situation he was in all at once, but as time went on, they began to get along exceedingly well, almost like siblings.
It's because he sees her this way that he's hesitant to tell her his secrets - that he's a replica, that he's killed thousands of people, that he has the power to destroy more - because he doesn't want to lose her as a friend. Someday, he might reveal at least one of these things to her, especially since the people of Luceti seem to be pretty open towards replicas. But until then, Luke would rather just be Luke around her, not a copy of Asch or a mere weapon.

All that he really knows about Nami is that she's one of Guy's close friends, and she apparently learned how to tease fon Fabres from Asch, because she sure likes to do so with him, too. But at the same time, she seems understanding enough as well as confident in herself. Maybe he'll get to talk to her more - he sure hopes so, especially if she happens to like talking to him. But at the moment, she will always be the girl he found naked in Guy's bed.

★ From the moment they held hands in the forest, Luke felt a sort of connection with Noel. He wasn't sure what it was, but once he realized that they both had tears in their eyes over something that was out of their control, he knew that he had to talk to her again, to get to know her better. There was just something there that he had to figure out. He thought he found it when she stumbled onto the replica filter, outing herself as one of them. She was a replica, just like he was; a clone of someone else, a person who was made and not born. He didn't want to just leave her alone, especially with the way she reacted, and thus he ran after her along with Xion, and again, he felt like they were in the forest again. There was something deeper there, some kind of connection that he didn't understand.
Then he truly found it when Noel became Kusanagi and attacked the village, killing several and severely wounding him. She had lost control and became a mindless weapon, the very thing she was built to be. Just like him. Unfortunately it took longer than he wanted to to get back to her on that, but when he did, he spilled the story of how he, too, was created to be a mass murderer, a tool of destruction. The two hugged, and for the first time Luke felt like he really understood that hidden connection he felt way back in the woods. They were truly the same, and though Luke feels awful for feeling this way, he can't help feeling a little relieved that there's someone out there who knows what that's like. Xion shares in this, and it's with that that he's grown so much closer to her and was able to step up and begin his journey towards finding himself again. Knowing that there was someone else out there... It's both horrifying and a wonderful relief to know that someone knows what you're going through. How hearing it wasn't your fault doesn't really lift the burden - they killed and hurt people, innocent people who didn't deserve it! They were created for that sole purpose! It's hard to get yourself out of that rut, and now someone else knows what that's like.
Luke already feels like Noel's a good friend, and now that this has all been revealed, he's sure that he'll be pestering her and getting to know her even more, and he's excited for what kind of future that holds. Not just because they're so similar, but also because he genuinely likes her. She's fun to hang out with, and he enjoys spending a little time with her. One thing's for sure: he's awfully glad they crashed into each other in the forest, despite the fact that it kind of hurt.

★ Luke isn't really sure if Paprika is actually real. His first and only encounter with her was in one of his dreams, and unfortunately for him, it had to be one of his worse nightmares that she happened to stumble upon. Still, she unveiled a lot and saved him even in his shifting dreams, when they'd normally end terribly for him. The fact that she changed the very ending of his dreams impacted him, and the fact that she had wings like any other Luceti resident made him wonder just who she was.
Since he believes that Paprika is some sort of person conjured by his dream or someone he's met who's popping up in his dreams in the form of another person, Luke is compelled to talk to her about anything and everything. He's already told her much about his life in just one dream, though that was mostly because of their very setting - a dream. Not much can be held back within your own subconscious mind. Even though Luke is unsure about Paprika's existence, he'd very much like to see her again and get to know more about her next time, instead of her learning about him.

★ Luke actually carries a ton of respect for Giles, partly because he saw him as his uncle during that one experiment (and Giles as an uncle was so much better than his "real" uncle), but because he just seems so... wise, and not scary like Jade. He helped Luke tremendously when that shift effect was giving him so much pain during the draft, which bumped the respect points by a dozen. He even knew what to do - brought him to a safe place and tried to reassure him.
And then he was turned into a brat, and Giles still knew how to handle him. Sure, he was sarcastic, but that mostly flew over Luke's head, and he just saw how calm he was around the boy. High emotions affect Luke quite a lot, so Giles staying calm helped Luke stay calm, even as a brat.
With all of that out of the way, it leaves Luke looking at Giles as almost a mentor of sorts, even a friend. He's a little nervous around him, though, since he's not sure how he amounts to Giles and is a little afraid to know, a little afraid of possibly annoying him, especially after his brat episode... but he still wishes for a closer relationship of sorts.

★ Xion's bff/father figure. Just those words alone have a lot of weight to them that Luke can plainly see, if his nervousness around the man didn't tell him that before. Sanji seems confident and, in a way, judging of him for some reason, and it kind of feels like there are eyes watching him all the time when he's around. Thus, Luke feels a little intimidated around the guy, and Sanji's confidence doesn't help in that department, though Luke still tries to be polite and to be himself as much as he can.
But he's still close to Xion, and upon seeing them together, Luke could relate. It was the sort of relationship he had with Guy, and he was happy to see that a fellow replica like himself could find something like that, as it isn't easy to do so otherwise. He'd like to get on Sanji's good side for that reason, and... well, because he seems like a cool guy. Except for that "smoking stick" he always carries around. It doesn't smell very nice.

★ He thinks Sokka's a pretty cool guy. Eh makes swords and doesn't afraid of anything.
But really, it's kind of nice having a guy friend who is so much... like a guy. He makes weapons, he knows about camping, he shows he cares without making a big deal about it; there's just something guyish about him. And Luke can be quite guyish when he hangs out with others like that, and he likes feeling that way. So in a way, he feels like his physical age - a reckless seventeen year old guy rather than a kid who's trying to get past all the trauma that's been piled up on his shoulders.
Sokka just kind of seems like the type of person who doesn't worry too much over things, and thus Luke feels a little... lighter around him. It's why he wants to try hard to keep up with him, and to be on a good level of friendship. It's nice to have friends you don't worry too much about unless big problems arise, and vice versa. Not because you don't worry, but because you trust them enough. It kind of reminds him of the friendship he had with Guy, though he's sure it'll never, ever be as bromantic as they were.
Luke likes Sokka, and he hopes to become better friends with him. And hopefully not completely screw up the camping trip they have planned.

★ Xion was nice to him the moment she and Luke met, something that he isn't really used to. It left him flustered, almost nervous around her, but not in the way that Peony intimidated him. No, Luke kept wanting to do everything for her in return, even though he felt like he didn't deserve her kindness. She was so sweet and wonderful that Luke couldn't help gravitating to her and to consider her important as well. It didn't help that she seemed to genuinely like him for his personality and for all the things he did. As a result, he didn't want to lose her, and thus he bottled up all his dark secrets and just tried to be her friend.
That changed one winter evening when he finally admitted to Xion that he was a replica. To his great surprise, Xion admitted that she, too, was a replica, although not created in the same way, and that she was also made to be a weapon, that she also had no future, that she was also meant to die... Luke had never felt an emotional onslaught like he did that day, but most prominent were sheer sorrow for knowing that someone was just like him and sheer happiness for that very same reason. From that day on, Xion became extremely special to Luke, and even pivotal to his views. If someone as sweet as Xion, who has so many friends and is real, is a replica, then maybe the fact that they exist isn't so bad after all. That confidence may fade once the euphoria wears off, but Luke hopes that it doesn't. He hasn't felt this happy in a very long time, and it was all thank to Xion.
Luke had even fallen for her, though he was able to keep it hidden until they confronted each other about it after the Valentine's event. He was surprised, and extremely relieved and happy, to hear that she felt the same way for him. These days, they're in a strong and steady relationship, and they only grow closer and closer as times goes on.

★ From the start, Yuri made it clear that he had nothing against Luke for what he was. Luke happened to slip out that he was a replica, and Yuri responded without a care. This greatly surprised Luke, as most people who find out keep their distance and think of him as some kind of strange copy of a human. But Yuri did none of that. He became Luke's friend and accepted him for who he was, never judging him for it or even bringing it up again. Yuri might not know just how much that means to Luke.
Since then, Luke has made it his duty to consider Yuri a good friend and to check up on him when he can, even if he knows that Yuri doesn't need it. It's rare for him to come across someone who could accept someone different from them, and that's something that Luke needed. Not to mention that Yuri is a good partner to have in battle, as fighting alongside him in the war pointed out. Luke doesn't know a lot about Yuri, and he won't mind if he doesn't want to tell him, either. Yuri is just Yuri, regardless of his past or his actions or his way of thinking. Just like how Luke is Luke, regardless of him being a replica.
Update: Yuri's pretty much a bro at this point. He fought beside him, fought with him, and even nearly died beside him. It's pretty hard to go through that with someone and not feel some type of attachment to them. Now that all of this has happened, especially when he gripped Yuri's hand and wouldn't let go while he was scared and bleeding, and Yuri didn't say a word (of course he couldn't, but eh)... He's really up there with his closest friends. He'll probably never say anything like, say, Akzeriuth, but he'll certainly wish to hang out with him more and be more than willing to fight by his side again.
