Is education really that important? What's the point of knowing how to create when you've long murdered your creativity. KICK ME. better yet, stab me.

I think it's because people seem to forget that education =/= academics.

"Is education really that important?"

If you need to ask, you really do need it.

Seriously though, while education doesn't have to mean a traditional education, and while education CERTAINLY doesn't equal intelligence, few things benefit your life more when you have it, and take more away from your life when you don't.

sigh. i wish i can stand tall and proud and tell the world "yes, give it to me"

this is me, on the crossroad where I don't want to pursue further education and has lost the passion for medical school. and yes dear, convince me more. :)

So explain how loosing your passion for your chosen field of study has soured your whole attitude towards education. That doesn't make sense.

Isn't that a bit like getting tired of a book and not wanting to finish it, so choosing never to go to a library again? It doesn't make sense.

I understand burnout. I do. But to go to the point where you actually ask a question like this seems like a rather irrational leap.
